Out of the Ball Park

He did it. Bill Clinton hit it out of the ball park. I don't think I've heard anyone give a better or more needed endorsement speech.

The best line:
"People around the world have always been more impressed by the power of our example than by the example of our power."

Music video for your morning

First, I want to apologize for all of the political posts this week, but I'm trying to stoke the fire within me again.

The oppressive heat outside & a busy calendar have choked out some of the passion that I had earlier in this campaign season. So these posts are more for me than anyone else, as reminders of what it's all about. However, if others out there enjoy them too, then that's even better.

There's a plethora of pro-Obama songs and videos out there from many sides of the musical spectrum; some are good, some are bad. The Ludacris song that came out last week is an example of the latter. Here's a great, positive video, courtesy of Big Boi and Miss Mary J Blige.

Whether hip-hop/R&B is your bag or not, I think the message is good. Though I have to admit, I initially had a bad reaction to all of the shots of Big Boi driving around in his fancy car. I first thought it took away from the message. However, I came around when I realized that the greater message is that this election can bring us all together -- rich, poor, black, white, etc.

Here it is. Enjoy it and share it if you like. Big Boi featuring Mary J Blige in "Something's Gotta Give":

Bundling Bad News for McCain

Wow...something smells fishy. I think the stink is coming from this story.

Sounds like 'Big Oil' bundling to me.

It gets even better. An update is here. And here.
